Day One: Monterey, Carmel
All the Mauiva air cruise passengers meet in the plush lobby of the Sheraton in downtown LA and are given a sticker for luggage, a thermal coffee cup and a Mauiva bag that is great for carrying around any essentials.

Once settled into their chartered plane en route to Monterey, they are treated to a tasty breakfast from Panera Bakery.

In Monterey there is a scenic drive to the Fisherman's Wharf. There is free time to wander around and grab a spot of lunch, including freshly made chowder. Then it is off to explore the open seas on a whale watching tour. Even if there aren't any whales, there are lots of other wildlife to spot and beautiful scenery to enjoy, but take a coat, as it can get nippy!

There is the chance to warm up as the coach takes you on a tour of the stunning California Highway 1 stopping of at various points, such as the Lone Cyprus tree and a golfer's highlight - Pebble Beach.

Before dinner there is the chance to explore Carmel By The Sea and, if you're lucky, there may even be a jazz concert in the square. Then it is off to a lovely Italian restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Day Two: San Francisco
After a fantastic breakfast it is back on the Mauiva coach and a short trip to the airport to go to San Francisco. The passengers barely have time to read a magazine before arriving in this fantastic city and being taken on a sight seeing tour that includes the historic Chinatown whilst following in the tracks of the famous cable cars.

The Fisherman's Wharf is a good place to grab some lunch as there is a fantastic array of seafood dishes and a lovely bakery called Boudin which is well worth a visit.

Then it is all aboard the ferry to the infamous Alcatraz where there is an informative audio tour and even a chance to experience being locked in a cell!

After a jam-packed day it is time to relax at the hotel before eating at a tasty local Greek restaurant. The evening offers the opportunity to explore the city's vibrant nightlife.

Day Three: San Francisco, Sausalito, Muir Woods, and Sonoma
Time to climb aboard the coach, after a superb breakfast, and explore some of San Francisco's beautiful parks then enjoy fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

There's a quick stop in the boutique-filled Sausalito. Then it is time to stretch your legs with a stroll through the breathtaking redwood tree filled Muir Woods.

Once again it is back to civilization with a stop in Sonoma County. It has some great spots for lunch including a treat from the local barbecue, handmade cheeses or fudges at the Cheese Factory.

With stomachs fully lined, it is off to the local Sebastiani Winery for a tour and a tasting session. All wines can be purchased afterwards.

Then it is dinnertime, which is in a bustling American restaurant.

Day Four: Fresno, Yosemite
In the morning it is off to the airport to catch the flight to Fresno. Once there it is a long stunning drive to Yosemite, with a brief stop for lunch in-between. In Yosemite there is the chance to amble up to the breathtakingly grand Grisly Giant.

There are more wondrous sights to behold including El Capitan, Dome Mountain and the Yosemite Falls, which are the largest in North America.

After many visual delights, Mauiva guides you to a very hearty dinner at an authentic ranch just outside the park. There may even be a surprise after dinner!

Then the coach takes the sleepy, yet contented, travelers to their hotel.

Day Five: Las Vegas, Hoover Dam
All aboard the Mauiva coach to be taken to the plane that will transport the passengers to Las Vegas, or more affectionately referred to as the 'Adult Playground'.

There is time to glimpse a few wonders within this city before heading to take a tour around the spectacular Hoover Dam.

The day is topped off with a lovely dinner and an evening show. Then it is up to the passengers how they choose to spend the rest of their evening in this vibrant place.

Day Six: Las Vegas, Grand Canyon
After the first night in Las Vegas there is a chance to have a lie in and then it is off to see Fairmont Road. This is before catching a plane over the Grand Canyon, which then meets a waiting bus. The bus drives to various viewing points that highlight the canyon's beauty and size.

It is back to Las Vegas for the last meal together as a group. After this the evening is yours to explore the rest of Las Vegas. This could involve going to see the famous fountain, pirate and volcano shows.

Day Seven: Las Vegas
The last day of the Mauiva air cruise offers the chance to explore Las Vegas during the daytime. This means time to go to local exhibitions, such as Bodies or Titanic. There's also time for shopping, catching up on sleep or relaxing by the pool before heading back to Los Angeles, where the air cruise starts and finishes. The passengers say goodbye and depart with some fantastic memories of all the amazing places that have been visited within the short space of a week.
